Our Philosophy
THE CURRENT PROBLEM
The average cost of attendance for a student living on campus at a public 4-year in-state institution is $26,027 per year or $104,108 over 4 years. Out-of-state students pay $27,091 per year or $108,364 over 4 years. Private, nonprofit university students pay $55,840 per year or $223,360 over 4 years.
It takes about three to six months for the average college graduate to find a job after college. As of September 2023, the unemployment rate for bachelor's degree holders was 2.2% compared to 4% for those only holding a high school diploma.

THE EMERALD SOLUTION
Emerald offers six separate courses all fairly priced. This covers the cost of the exam, the supplies used, and a unique set of scrubs that Emerald will provide the students to showcase our brand. Additionally, students who wish to take additional courses at our program will be given a discount. Further, Emerald will not turn away students due to their GPA and instead will accept anyone with a GED, High School Diploma or equivalent as we are a certification company not an educational institution.
Students with only a high school diploma will earn an average of $21,000 per year. This is roughly 35% less than the average of an individual with a Bachelor’s Degree. Students with only a high school diploma have a 13% chance of living in poverty compared to an individual with a degree which is roughly 5%. In 2022, 40 million individuals were college dropouts with California, Texas and New York being among the three top states with the most dropouts.

Barry Hurley has over 10 years experience in the medical field with previous success as an entrepreneur with a former start-up that has lasted over 8 years. Additionally, he has a long list of trusted contacts in the medical field due to a very trusted reputation as a hard worker and honest individual.
