Patient Care Technicians are essential team members at hospitals and clinics. They are responsible for the following duties:
Provide basic patient care
Ensuring patient rooms are clean and safe
Monitoring patients vitals
Perform phlebotomy procedures
Collecting medical data to be used by doctors
Perform EKGs and obtain readings
Classes are 2 hours long every Monday and Thursday. Tuition includes course materials, pair of scrubs and supplies. Tuition must be paid in full before you can begin the class. $500 downpayment required and non-refundable.
