Drawing blood from patients
Explaining blood-drawing procedure to patients and answer questions
Evaluating patients’ ability to withstand procedure
Performing basic point of care testing such as blood glucose levels
Preparing blood, urine, and other specimens for testing
Verifying patient or donor identity
Maintaining and cleaning medical equipment such as needles, test tubes, and blood vials
Tuition includes supplies and online access. $300 is required to start the class and is non-refundable.
